TheCongress party has intensified its voter enrolment drive for the Khammam-Nalgonda-Warangal Graduates’ MLC election, with party leaders directing cadres to ensure that all eligible graduates in Raghunathapalem mandal are enrolled by November 1.

A press meeting was held at the camp office of the minister on Thursday, with Khammam constituency in-charge Rayala Nageswara Rao and senior state Congress leader Tummala Yugandhar attending as chief guests.

Addressing the party leaders and workers, they called upon village sarpanches, village Congress presidents, party activists, leaders and supporters to coordinate efforts and ensure that every eligible graduate was enrolled as a voter. They stressed the need for a concerted grassroots campaign to complete the exercise within the stipulated deadline.

To facilitate the process, the party has established six enrolment centres across the mandal. These are located at V. Venkatayapalem, Apple Centre in Raghunathapalem, Manchukonda Centre, Koyachelaka, Erlapudi and the Mandal Parishad Development Office (MPDO) in Raghunathapalem.

The leaders urged party cadres to take the enrolment campaign seriously and work in coordination with local representatives to reach eligible graduates in every village.

They also called upon Congress workers to extend full support to the party’s candidate, Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy, and make the voter enrolment campaign a success ahead of the MLC elections. Describing the elections as a major political challenge, the leaders urged party members to work collectively to strengthen the Congress position and secure victory for the party’s candidates.

They expressed confidence that a well-organised campaign at the village level would help the party demonstrate its strength and present a strong performance in the elections.
