EastGodavari district SP D Narasimha Kishore inspected the nomination process for the MPTC and ZPTC elections at various centres in the district and reviewed the security arrangements made by the police.

During his visit to nomination centres at the MDO offices in Kovvur, Tallapudi, Devarapalli and Gopalapuram mandals under the Kovvur sub division, the SP examined the three-tier security system put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the nomination process. He inspected the police bandobust, entry and exit points, barricading, CCTV cameras, drone surveillance and deployment of police personnel at the centres.
