TelanganaChief Minister A Revanth Reddy has warned that the next General Election is crucial for the country and people's full support to Rahul Gandhi is the need of the hour.

Participating in the Pandaga Sayanna Mudiraj birth anniversary celebrations in Hyderabad on Thursday, the Chief Minister called upon people to stand in support of Rahul Gandhi at the present crucial juncture. The Chief Minister expressed his confidence that the majority of 'Bahujans' across the country would be empowered should Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi become Prime Minister of the country.

Stating that the People's Government was according top priority to the political empowerment of all BC communities, Revanth Reddy announced that a Cabinet Sub Committee would be constituted to study the inclusion of the Mudiraj community in BC-A category. Due to lack of accurate data, the Mudiraj community could not be reclassified from the 'BC-D' category to 'BC-A', he said. “We will discuss this issue in the next Cabinet meeting and form a Cabinet Sub-Committee to conduct a comprehensive study on this issue,” he observed.
