Sharesof Fusion CX Ltd, an AI-powered customer experience solutions provider, on Thursday ended flat after a firm market debut on the stock exchanges.

The stock started trading at Rs 305 apiece on the NSE, reflecting a premium of 5.54 per cent from the issue price of Rs 289. It ended at Rs 289.65, higher by 0.22 per cent.

On the BSE, the stock debuted at Rs 292, marking a premium of 1.04 per cent. It settled at Rs 289.75 per share, up 0.26 per cent. At the end of the market session, the company's market capitalisation stood at Rs 4,182.84 crore on the BSE and Rs 4,181.40 crore on the NSE.

The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 460.30 points, or 0.62 per cent, to close at 73,249.39, while the broader NSE Nifty fell 123.70 points, or 0.54 per cent, to settle at 22,687.65.

The Rs 702-crore initial public offering of Fusion CX received 4.45 times subscription on the final day of bidding on Friday.

The company had fixed the price band at Rs 275-289 per share.

The IPO comprised a fresh issue of shares worth up to Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale of shares aggregating up to Rs 202 crore by existing shareholders P N S Business Pvt Ltd and Rasish Consultants Pvt Ltd.

Fusion CX plans to use Rs 275 crore from the fresh issue proceeds to repay debt of the company and its subsidiaries, while Rs 61 crore will be invested in its step-down subsidiaries, Omind Technologies Inc and Omind Technologies, to upgrade IT tools.

The remaining funds will be used for acquisitions, other strategic initiatives and general corporate purposes.

The Kolkata-based company provides customer experience and AI-driven solutions across sectors, including telecommunications, healthcare, technology, travel, banking, financial services, insurance and retail.
