New Delhi: Grain commerce platform Arya.ag on Thursday said it has entered Himachal Pradesh's apple value chain, offering growers and buyers storage, finance and market access from the current season. The company will focus on Kinnaur, Narkanda, Rohru, Kotkhai and Jubbal, working with growers, farmer producer organisations and local aggregators to move graded apples into organised markets in Himachal, Haryana and Punjab. Fruit will be assessed at pack houses near orchards using AI-enabled scanners that sort by colour, size and surface defects and generate a digital quality record that travels with each lot, the company said in a statement.
