New Delhi: The Department of Posts (DoP) has breached the Rs 4,000 crore revenue mark in two successive quarters for the first time, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Thursday. DoP, which operates the India Post brand, clocked 25 per cent growth to Rs 4,202 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2026 compared to Rs 3,355 crore a year ago, Scindia said. The growth was led by Parcel, which was up 71 per cent. Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural PLI grew 44 per cent compared to September 2025 quarter. The International Business (IB) grew 38 per cent.

Adani Energy profit increases to ` 1,364 cr

New Delhi: Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) on Thursday reported a 145 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,364 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, delivering record performance. According to the company's exchange filing, total income rose 51 per cent to Rs 10,239 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 6,767 crore in Q2 FY26. Meanwhile, operational revenue grew 51 per cent to Rs 7,167 crore driven by healthy contribution from the transmission and energy solutions platform.

Mahindra Lifespace profit down 66%

New Delhi: Realty firm Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd on Thursday reported 66 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 16.34 crore for the quarter ended September 2026. Its net profit stood at Rs 47.91 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 104.02 crore in the quarter from Rs 33.06 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.

Nippon Life India Asset Mgmt profit drops 6%

New Delhi:Nippon Life India Asset Management on Thursday reported a 6% per cent decline in profit after tax at Rs 324.4 crore for September quarter FY27 primarily driven by a one-time exceptional item of Rs 96.76 crore pertaining to Sebi settlement proceedings. The company earned a profit after tax of Rs 344.64 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations surged 21 per cent year-on-year to Rs 796 crore.

J&K Bank net profit rises 11% to ` 546 cr

New Delhi: J&K Bank on Thursday reported an 11 per cent growth in its net profit to Rs 546 crore in the second quarter ended September 2026. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 494 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 4,042 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 3,446 crore in the same period a year ago, J&K Bank said in a regulatory filing.
