Music composer Devi Sri Prasad is all set to make his acting debut with an upcoming devotional rustic action drama Yellamma, which will hit the theatres worldwide on March 5, 2027. The makers of the film unveiled the release date.

The National Award-winning filmmaker VenuYeldandi, who recently bagged the coveted Balagam, is directing the film. It is presented by Dil Raju while Shirish is producing the film under Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Apart from playing the lead role, Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) will also be seen composing the music of the film. The music maestro’s transition from music to acting has drawn immense attention. The first-look poster of DSP as Parshi was released on his birthday, which went viral as he was seen sporting the character in a humble get-up.

The team is currently busy with the preparations as the film is gearing up for its release on the scheduled date. With Yeldandi and DSP on board, the film promises to give an altogether different experience to the audience. Yellamma will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it one of the most awaited pan-India films this year. - S Suhas
