Lingampalli Himaja, a 20-year-old student at Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, reached the James Dyson Award 2026 global top 20 with RUDHRA, a tool enabling visually impaired people to create Braille documents independently. Winners, announced November 4, receive £30,000 for further development and commercialisation. HimajaLingampalli, creator of RUDHRA, said: “I feel incredibly grateful and proud to have this opportunity through the James Dyson Award. Representing India on an international platform is a meaningful milestone for me.”
