KTR smells a rat in land deal struck

with CM Revanth sibling’s company

Hyderabad: Suspended BRS MLAs on Thursday staged a protest at Thukkuguda, alleging that the State government had illegally allocated land to Tesseract, a company linked to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother, Anumula Kondal Reddy. BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, BRSLP Deputy Leader T Harish Rao, along with MLAs, MLCs and senior party leaders, visited the site to inspect the land.

KTR alleged that government land worth around Rs 250 crore was allocated to Kondal Reddy for just Rs 7 crore. He questioned how government land could be allotted at such a low price instead of its market value and demanded that the government place complete details of the allocation before the people. He questioned whether granting government land, concessions and exemptions to the Chief Minister’s family members amounted to abuse of power, conflict of interest and dynastic rule.

KTR also questioned the government incentives, land and exemptions allegedly granted to a company linked to A Jagadishwar Reddy under a Rs 1,000-crore investment agreement.
