A social media campaign by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has caused outrage after an AI-generated poster appeared to single out Indian truck drivers as part of the Trump administration's push encouraging undocumented migrants to leave the country.

The graphic, shared by the official DHS account on X, is designed like a movie poster and is titled Transformers: Age of Deportations. It shows an AI-generated robot carrying a DHS badge facing a brown-bearded man wearing a head covering.

Across the centre of the image is the message: ‘America for Americans. Get off our roads; you don't know how to drive, Mr Singh.’ The post also tells undocumented commercial drivers to ‘self-deport or find out’ and includes a federal hotline through which people can report what DHS describes as ‘illegal aliens on American roads’. The reference to ‘Mr Singh’ has drawn particular criticism from Sikh and Indian American organisations. Continued on Page 7
