MohammedImran has been appointed as the Karimnagar district president of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI). Telangana NSUI president Edavalli Venkat Swamy issued the appointment orders on Wednesday.

Imran, who has been associated with the Congress student wing for the past 10 years, has held various responsibilities, including college president, NSUI constituency coordinator, district general secretary, district vice-president, Huzurabad MLA election in-charge and Karimnagar district coordinator during the MLC elections. Expressing gratitude to the NSUI State president for recognising his work among students, Imran said he would work to strengthen the organisation and continue raising issues concerning students. He thanked Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Karimnagar DCC president and Choppadandi MLA Medipalli Satyam, Manakondur MLA Dr Kavvampalli Satyanarayana and others for his appointment.
