District Collector Chahat Bajpayee along with officials inspected the railway lands proposed for the construction of a permanent RTC bus station in Kazipet on Thursday. The Collector inspected the site in front of the railway station, where city buses are currently plying. He also inspected the railway school site, the railway stadium area, and about an acre of land belonging to the railway opposite the stadium and inquired from the officials about their suitability for the construction of a bus station.

The Collector also inspected the current bus stand where RTC buses going to Hyderabad stop on the Kazipet main road. He examined the movement of passengers, stopping of buses and other aspects and discussed with the officials the infrastructure required for the construction of a permanent bus station. She also discussed issues such as land acquisition, land exchange process and others.
