SuspendedBRS MLAs on Thursday staged a protest at Thukkuguda, alleging that the State government had illegally allocated land to Tesseract, a company linked to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother, Anumula Kondal Reddy.

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, BRSLP Deputy Leader T Harish Rao, along with MLAs, MLCs and senior party leaders, visited the site to inspect the land.

KTR alleged that government land worth around Rs 250 crore was allocated to Kondal Reddy for just Rs 7 crore. He questioned how government land could be allotted at such a low price instead of its market value and demanded that the government place complete details of the allocation before the people.

He questioned whether granting government land, concessions and exemptions to the Chief Minister’s family members amounted to abuse of power, conflict of interest and dynastic rule.

KTR also questioned the government incentives, land and exemptions allegedly granted to a company linked to A Jagadishwar Reddy under a Rs 1,000-crore investment agreement. He demanded clarity on the agreement between the Chief Minister’s brother’s company and Israel’s innovation ecosystem.

He questioned the silence of the BJP and central investigative agencies, including the ED, IT and CBI, over the alleged land allocation. KTR also demanded details on the entry of companies belonging to the families of Revanth Reddy and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy into the aerospace and defence sectors.

KTR alleged that BRS MLAs were suspended and forcibly removed from the Assembly for questioning the government over land allocations, Future City and its policies.

He further alleged that Future City was being developed as a real estate scheme and questioned the legal implications of using land earlier acquired for Pharma City for other purposes. He advised investors to examine the legal issues before investing and said the BRS would continue its fight for accountability and transparency.
