TelanganaDeputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka made it clear that Telangana society would not tolerate feudal and discriminatory ideology under any circumstances. Strongly condemning the manner in which BRS leadership behaved in the Legislative Assembly in a way that insulted the Speaker, he said it was painful that the same mindset continued to be displayed afterwards, severely criticizing BRS leaders conduct in the House.

Bhatti Vikramarka said he had expressed deep anguish on Tuesday over inappropriate remarks made against the Speaker, adding it was even more distressing that within 24 hours posts emerged showing BRS leaders and cadres carrying out a purification ritual on roads walked by Dalits. He emphasized this was not merely an insult to Dalits, but an act hurting the self-respect of entire Telangana society.

Bhatti Vikramarka noted national developments were worrying, stressing that under the Constitution framed by BR Ambedkar everyone remains equal regarding fundamental rights. He recalled that about a month ago, after Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge attended a meeting in Uttarakhand, BJP leaders purified the same ground, criticizing the BJP for failing to condemn the act despite Kharge leading a party central to India freedom struggle. He alleged such actions reflected a farmhouse feudal mindset, questioning whether a party harboring such ideology had ruled Telangana for ten years.

Bhatti Vikramarka expressed concern over whether the country was moving towards medieval conditions. Reaffirming government commitment to constitutional equality, he asserted that feudal attitudes have no room in progressive governance. The Deputy Chief Minister urged democratic forces to unite against discriminatory practices, ensuring public discourse remains respectful while safeguarding social justice and constitutional ideals across Telangana.
