Amaravati:The 8th District Collectors’ conference will be held on September 10 and 11 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat.

The two-day conference will begin with a review of the Action Taken Report on the decisions taken during the 7th Collectors’ Conference. The Chief Minister will review key areas including economic growth, welfare, human development, technology, investments, law and order and other critical sectors. He will also provide directions to the Collectors on the ground-level implementation of government services and various welfare and development programmes.

On the first day, the conference will review Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and district-level roadmaps for the Swarna Andhra Vision. Progress in the Super Six welfare schemes, drinking water, housing, healthcare, education and Ease of Doing Business will also be reviewed.The Jaladhara programme will be discussed, while several collectors will present the best practices being followed in their respective districts.On the second day, the conference will focus on e-governance, file disposal, RTGS, public grievance redressal platform, district-wise rankings, land administration and utilisation of Central government funds.
