SocialWelfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth Rs 67.88 lakh to 83 beneficiaries at his camp office in Turpu Naidupalem, and distributed new Pattadar passbooks to farmers at Nennurupadu on Wednesday.

Speaking at the programme, Dr Swamy said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s aim is to ensure every person in the state lives in good health and happiness. He assured that the government stands by the people in times of hardship.

Later in the evening, the minister attended the ‘Mee Bhoomi Mee Hakku’ programme organised at Nennurupadu in Kondapi mandal, as the chief guest. He distributed new Pattadar passbooks to farmers in person. Speaking at the programme, Minister Swamy alleged that former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had misused public money by printing his photo on passbooks out of a publicity craze. He said that the present government was distributing passbooks with the state seal.

He added that fertilisers, seeds, subsidised agricultural equipment, and drones were being provided to farmers in time. He further said that the government was giving Rs 20,000 per year as investment support to farmers, an amount unmatched anywhere in the country.
