UnionMinister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar formally commended Dr Guru Raja, who assumed the role of president of the Global NRI TDP, recognising his years of silent, behind-the-scenes dedication to the party. Accepting the position, Guru Raja pledged to seamlessly unite global cadres to support the rebuilding of the state.

TDP marked a historic milestone on Wednesday as the new Global NRI TDP Executive Committee officially took its oath at a programme held at the party central office in Mangalagiri on Wednesday.

During the ceremony, prominent leaders highlighted the profound connection between the global Telugu diaspora and the broader developmental vision for AP. Speaking on the occasion, Guru Raja echoed this sentiment, emphasising that Nara Lokesh’s initiatives, such as the NTR Sanjeevani Clinics, a 100-bed hospital, Gems Park, and the “Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh” housing scheme in Mangalagiri, set a brand new benchmark for public governance. Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Kondapalli Srinivas noted that Lokesh is creating unique political platforms for highly educated professionals and diaspora members, ensuring they become active partners in public service.
