GunturWest MLA Galla Madhavi said that history would never forget the alleged illegal arrest of TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu.

The statewide “Nijam Gelichindi” programme was organised at the TDP office in Guntur West constituency under the leadership of MLA Galla Madhavi on Wednesday. The party leaders and cadres lit lamps and staged a protest against Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Madhavi congratulated the booth in-charges, booth conveners, cluster in-charges and party division presidents who completed party’s door-to-door campaign 100% and announced that a special tour to the Veligonda Project and Srisailam Mallanna Temple would be organised on September 13.

She said the Veligonda Project was a testament to Chandrababu Naidu’s vision and was a crucial project for the agricultural development of the State. She stated that the tour was being organised to enable party cadres to personally witness the historic project. She also called upon people to install clay Ganesha idols instead of Plaster of Paris idols and contribute to environmental protection.
