CollectorAdarsh Surabhi conducted a surprise inspection of the SC boys’ hostel in the 30th ward of the town on Wednesday. He inspected the newly constructed kitchen and store-room; examined quality of the construction and materials being used, offering specific instructions to the concerned officials. Surabhi emphasised that work must strictly adhere to the prescribed estimates; no additional works beyond those estimates should be undertaken. He instructed that the building must be made operational within the next month.

The Collector inquired about the facilities available to the students. He instructed officials to take measures to provide better accommodation and basic amenities for them. There should be no compromise regarding the food provided.
