StateChief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy directed officials to complete the Special Integrated Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls within the stipulated time, ensuring transparency and accuracy. He reviewed the process at Ambedkar Bhavan in Nirmal town on Wednesday along with District Collector Bhavesh Mishra.

Reddy instructed officials to ensure that every eligible voter is included, while names of deceased and permanently migrated persons are removed according to Election Commission guidelines. He directed BLOs to carefully verify household details and correct errors in names, ages and addresses.

He also called for awareness campaigns encouraging youth aged 18 and above to register as voters and urged citizens to verify their names on the rolls. Collector Bhavesh Mishra said the revision was being conducted strictly as per guidelines.
