TelanganaState BJP Chief N Ramachander Rao wrote a letter to Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, expressing deep anguish over the crisis confronting the education sector under the Congress government.

Demanding immediate intervention, Ramachander Rao stated that pending fee reimbursement dues amounting to approximately Rs 15000 crore have jeopardised the future of nearly 40 lakh students, particularly those from SC, ST, BC, and economically weaker sections. Colleges are withholding certificates, preventing graduates from pursuing higher education or employment, while institutions struggle financially, paying staff half salaries.

He criticised the administration for suppressing peaceful protests with arrests and lathi charges, noting he was arrested four times in ten days and forced to hold a hunger strike at the party office. Ramachander Rao highlighted unfulfilled Youth Declaration promises, including job calendars and Vidya Bharosa Cards, after 1000 days in office.

He detailed wider sector grievances, including polytechnic college merger fears, pending AYUSH stipend revisions, poor hostel food quality, and unimplemented Pay Revision Commission benefits. Dismissing Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy request for two more years to resolve issues, Ramachander Rao urged Rahul Gandhi to apply his youth advocacy standards to his own party government and compel immediate action.
