Affirmingthat Backward Classes (BCs) are social pillars who never compromise on self-respect, Health Minister and Dharmavaram MLA Satyakumar Yadav hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating India’s global standing while originating from a BC background.

Addressing the BJP OBC Morcha district executive meeting at Gotluru village in Sri Sathya Sai district, Satyakumar commended Gotluru residents for achieving national “Best Village” awards twice by keeping local development above party politics. He urged party cadres to actively participate in nationwide service initiatives starting September 17 to mark PM Modi’s 25-year public service journey.

He called on workers to organize “Seva Setu” outreach camps, verify central welfare delivery, honor Anganwadi staff, and light “Ashirvada Deepam” across all villages.

Outlining major infrastructure projects in Dharmavaram constituency, the Minister highlighted ongoing Rs 650 crore highway works between Kadiri and Mudigubba, the sanctioning of an Ayurveda Medical College, establishment of a Mega Handloom Cluster, and expanded dialysis facilities.

He reiterated that coalition welfare schemes—including doorstep pension delivery of Rs 4,000, Talliki Vandanam, and Deepam—are being distributed without political bias.

Satyakumar noted that the “Stree Shakti” free bus travel scheme has significantly improved healthcare access for women, leading to increased outpatient and inpatient registrations at government hospitals. He advised party cadres to spread awareness regarding the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which provides free medical coverage up to Rs 5 lakh for eligible families.

He promised to treat every constituent as a family member and continue driving inclusive development across the region.
