New Delhi:Gold prices rose by Rs 190 to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. The yellow metal contract for the October delivery traded higher by 0.12 per cent in a business turnover of 635 lots. Fresh positions by market participants led to a rise in the precious metal’s prices, analysts said.

Silver futures climb on fresh bets

Silverprices rose 0.41 per cent to Rs 2.40 lakh per kg in the futures trade amid a firm global trend. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the white metal for December delivery increased by Rs 989 in 1,192 lots. Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said. In the overseas market, silver futures increased 1.17 per cent to $66.51 per ounce.
