Followingthe directions of Palnadu district collector, bicycles were distributed to 100 tribal girl students belonging to the GTW College Girls’ Hostel in Narasaraopet on Friday. The bicycles were distributed to the students with Corporate Social Responsibility with the support of Union Bank of India. The officials stated that the initiative aims to encourage the education of tribal girl students, provide them with convenient transportation to and from college, and improve their attendance and academic progress. The students expressed their happiness and said that the bicycles would be very useful for their education and daily commute. Palnadu district Tribal Welfare Department Officer B Govind Naik, Hostel Officer Ch Nagaraj Kumari, UBI Regional Manager Satyanarayana Murthy were among those who participated.
