TheCyberabad Traffic Police has announced traffic diversions at SBI Tellapur from August 22 for 25 days to facilitate the construction of a storm water drain with an RCC pipeline on the Nallagandla – Tellapur Road, a stretch identified as vulnerable to severe water logging during heavy rainfall.

According to traffic police, the civic authorities will undertake the works from SBI Bank to MM Wine Mart at Tellapur Ward No. 263, Patancheru Circle–46, SLP Zone, CMC, to provide a permanent drainage solution and prevent water accumulation near SBI Tellapur, which frequently causes inconvenience to commuters and disrupts the smooth flow of traffic during rains.

As part of the traffic management arrangements, one side of the road between SBI Tellapur U-Turn and MM Wines U-Turn will be closed, with traffic in both directions regulated on the available side of the road for a stretch of approximately 300 metres. Motorists have been advised to expect slow-moving traffic and congestion in the area during the diversion period.

Nallagandla Circle towards Tellapur, Osman Nagar and ORR Exit-2

Traffic proceeding via SBI Tellapur will be diverted onto the opposite/available side of the road between SBI Tellapur U-Turn and MM Wines U-Turn.

Nallagandla Circle towards Kollur and Osman Nagar Motorists are advised to take the alternate route: Nallagandla Circle – Neo Mall – Gopanpally X Road – Aliens Junction – Osman Nagar – ORR Service Road – Kollur Village.

Tellapur Circle towards RC Puram

Commuters heading towards RC Puram are advised to take the route: Tellapur Circle – Saibaba Temple, Tellapur – Railway Under Bridge – Old MIG – RC Puram.

Kollur Village and Osman Nagar towards Gachibowli

Motorists can use the alternate route: Kollur Village – Osman Nagar – Aliens Junction – My Home Sayuk – Gopanpally Junction – Gowlidoddy – Wipro Circle – IIT Junction – Gachibowli.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police said necessary traffic regulation measures would be put in place at various roads and junctions around SBI Tellapur to minimise inconvenience and ensure the smooth movement of vehicles. The general public has been requested to use the suggested alternate routes, plan their journeys in advance and cooperate with traffic police personnel during the execution of the works.
