Demandingrobust government protection for private school teachers, representatives of the Telangana Recognised Schools Managements Association (TRSMA) conducted a massive protest rally in Bodhan on Friday.

Over a thousand private school teachers marched through the town’s streets, raising slogans of “Roopa Reddy Amar Rahe” to protest the brutal murder of Principal Roopa Reddy in Nalgonda. Expressing deep outrage over the incident, the protesters highlighted the growing vulnerabilities faced by teaching staff in private institutions and urged the state government to initiate immediate safety measures to secure their workplace environment.

Following the demonstration, the union leaders submitted a formal representation to the Bodhan Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), demanding exemplary punishment for those responsible for Principal Roopa Reddy’s killing to deter future occurrences.

The leadership underscored the urgent necessity for policy-level safeguards to protect educators from harassment and violence across the state. TRSMA District President Kodali Kishore and Town President Harikrishna spearheaded the protest march and delegation.
