UttarPradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed confidence that the BJP will also win in Telangana and form a double-engine sarkar, as in Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s remarks came during a meeting with Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday. The two leaders' meeting lasted half an hour, during which Yogi said that the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government would fully cooperate for Telangana's development. However, when a double-engine sarkar is formed in Telangana, it will witness all-round development, as in Uttar Pradesh.

As part of his visit to Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday evening. After participating in several development programmes of the Central Paramilitary Sashastra Seema Bal, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, who went directly to the CM's official residence in Lucknow, paid a courtesy call on Yogi Adityanath. The meeting lasted for more than half an hour.

Both leaders discussed the party's situation in Telangana and the UP election. Yogi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully cooperating with Telangana's development. He said that Uttar Pradesh is proof of this that if a double-engine government comes to power, Telangana will benefit even more. He said that with the continuation of the double-engine government in UP, a large amount of funds is being brought in and development is being carried out with the help of Modi. He believed that a double-engine government in Telangana would also address the problems plaguing the state, and that the people would benefit.

He said that there is a positive atmosphere for BJP in Telangana and if all the leaders work together, there are plenty of chances of it definitely coming to power. He expressed confidence that the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held soon and that under Modi's leadership, the saffron flag will be hoisted for the third time.
