Hyderabad: Rein Bazar Police recovered 11 lost or missing mobile phones worth around Rs 1 lakh with the help of the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal on Friday.

According to police, the phones were traced using their respective IMEI numbers after complaints were received from the owners. The police team used the CEIR portal to track the missing devices and successfully recover them.

The recovered mobile phones were subsequently handed over to their respective owners. Police said the recovery highlights the effective use of technology and the CEIR portal in tracing lost or missing mobile phones and helping members of the public recover their devices.
