Repairworks on furniture and patient support equipment are being carried out on a war footing at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Nellore to improve facilities for patients. Following the State government directions to enhance amenities in government hospitals, the works are progressing on the instructions of Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy.

Repairs to patient chairs, wheelchairs, stretchers and other damaged items are advancing rapidly.

Hospital Superintendent Dr Kondeti Madhavi Latha, RMO Srinivasulu and Hospital Development Committee Coordinator Madaparthi Srinivasulu personally supervised the efforts on Friday. Dr Madhavi Latha said the repairs aim to prevent inconvenience to patients and that the refurbished chairs and equipment will be distributed to various hospital departments once completed.
