DistrictCollector Kumar Deepak on Thursday said the government was taking special measures to strengthen the education system and improve facilities in government schools. During his visit to Kasipet mandal, he inspected the construction of additional classrooms and a dining hall at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and directed officials to expedite the works. He stressed quality education, regular student attendance, timely nutrition and proper health care. The Collector also inspected development works in Pallanguda village, including the Gram Panchayat office, VO buildings, Indiramma houses, school, Anganwadi centre and health facilities. He later visited the Tribal Boys’ Ashram High School at Rekulaguda and instructed officials to improve infrastructure, increase student enrolment and ensure better educational facilities.
