TheNirmal District Telangana Recognised Schools Managements Association (TRSMA) strongly condemned the murder of Rupa Reddy, principal of Nagarjuna Grammar Concept School in Kondamallepally, Nalgonda district, allegedly by two students of the same school. Protesting the incident, TRSMA members wore black ribbons in Khanapur on Thursday.

District president Golla Pelli Srinivas Goud, general secretary Padala Prabhakar Rao and other leaders expressed concern over increasing attacks on teachers and private educational institutions. They demanded stringent action against the accused and justice for Rupa Reddy’s family.

The leaders urged the government to strengthen security measures in schools and ensure the safety of teachers and principals. As a mark of protest, private schools across Nirmal district will observe a bandh on Friday under the aegis of TRSMA.
