NTPC Ramagundam distributed 171 bicycles to Class IX girl students from eight schools in Ramagundam Mandal under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The distribution programme was held at ZPHS (Girls), Ashoknagar, Godavarikhani.

Ramagundam MLA Shri Makkan Singh Raj Thakur attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation, corporators, school teachers and other dignitaries were also present.

The initiative is aimed at supporting girl students by providing convenient and safer transportation to school. The bicycles are expected to help reduce commuting difficulties, improve regular attendance and encourage girls to continue their education. NTPC officials said such CSR initiatives reflect the organisation’s commitment to supporting education and community development in the region.
