Hyderabad:An attempt to murder case has been registered against former OSD to Minister for Environment and Forests Konda Surekha following a complaint by a 36-year-old real estate businessman, Gongidi Harikrishna, who alleged that he was assaulted with iron rods and sticks by a group in Hyderabad. Medipally police initially registered a Zero FIR and later transferred the case to Jubilee Hills Police Station as the incident falls under its jurisdiction. Based on Harikrishna’s complaint, police registered a case against Sumanth and five others.

According to the complaint, Harikrishna received a call from Sumanth on July 30 asking him to meet him urgently. Harikrishna reportedly told him that he had returned to his native place and would meet him the following morning.
