Amazon.in’s inaugural Best in Tech Survey, found AI features are now expected by 82 per cent of smartphone buyers. Performance and speed remain the strongest purchase drivers at 87 per cent, followed by battery life at 79 per cent and camera quality at 77 per cent. About 42 per cent are considering phones priced Rs25,000-Rs50,000, while 48 per cent plan upgrades within three months. Reviews and ratings influence 47 per cent of buyers.

Declassified on Discovery+

Discovery has announced the availability of Declassified: Operation Sindoor on this Independence Day to stream on Discovery+. The two-part docuseries was broadcasted on August 15, where Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor of India gave insights on Operation Sindoor. According to Doval: “We had decided the objective of the operation was destruction of the enemy camps particularly those who had been responsible for the Pahalgam attack.”

Milestone in robotic surgeries

Dr. Mohit Bhandari and Team Mohak marked the national milestone with an extraordinary achievement: 51 robotic bariatric and metabolic surgeries completed in just 14 hours on August 15. The unprecedented initiative brought together six robotic systems, one designated console surgeon and one highly coordinated Indian clinical team. A total of 51 patients underwent robotic bariatric and metabolic surgery, comprising 30 men and 21 women. The patients ranged in age from 21 to 77 years, with an average age of 43.6 years.
