GunturMunicipal Corporation commissioner K Mayur Ashok directed the engineering officials to take steps to immediately start road construction works as the widening works of Brindavan Gardens road are nearing completion.

He along with the officials on Thursday inspected the road widening works at Brindavan Gardens and a building on Pattabhipuram main road whose owner had applied for an occupancy certificate, and issued necessary instructions regarding the measures to be taken. Speaking on the occasion, he directed the SE to take immediate steps to commence road construction works as the widening of Brindavan Gardens main road has reached its final stage. He also instructed the officials to coordinate with CPDCL authorities for shifting electric poles. The EE was directed to complete the pending drainage works in the identified areas within two days. He instructed the officials to closely monitor quality standards in the construction of culverts and directed the Amenity Secretaries and AEs to pay special attention to the quality of works.

At the building on Pattabhipuram main road, he checked the building plan, setbacks and cellars and instructed the officials to remove construction debris from the roads.
