Baby Nakshatra makes her Telugu debut with the much-anticipated Irumudi. The young girl has expressed her delight to play the daughter of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in Shiva Nirvana’s directorial venture and she is confident that the audience will connect to this emotional family entertainer.

Starring Ravi Teja in a lead role, the film also marks the debut of Priya Bhavani Shankar in Telugu cinema. This family genre movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers is all set to release on August 21 st .

Speaking about her role in the film, Nakshatra said, “I play the daughter of Ravi Teja in the film while Priya Bhavani Shankar plays my mother. Both Ravi Teja and Priya were extremely supportive and helped me a lot during the shoot. Interestingly, I have dubbed my own songs for the movie.”

The thirteen years old actress who was from Kerala, has starred in 6 films in kannada, Malayalam and Tamil and studied 7th standard said that she got signed by the director Shiva Nirvana who saw her Instagram reel. She also added that working with legend Ravi Teja was an incredible experience and Vikramarkudu is his favorite film. Nakshatra thanked the parents and teachers for encouraging her and made her pursue studies and acting career.

Nakshatra also said that shooting in sileru, which is the shooting location of Irumudi was nostalgic for her as it had similarity with Kerala. She has a particular fondness for the song “Yalo Yalo”.
