The government is waiting for a response from the ED.

Besides, the state police are also reportedly preparing to take stringent action against millers accused of evading payment of government dues. A decision has reportedly been made to invoke the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against nine defaulting rice millers.

Officials are already proceeding to crack a whip against the millers if they failed to pay the dues before the deadline set by the government. Multiple notices were served on the rice millers. Officials are waiting for their final response by August end.
