TheAwareness Wing of EAGLE Force, conducted a series of anti-drug awareness programmes at educational institutions and youth-focused platforms across Hyderabad to educate students about the dangers of narcotic drugs and substance abuse.

The EAGLE Force Awareness Team, along with an LED Awareness Vehicle, visited Government High School at Jahanuma in the Old City and sensitised students through awareness videos and interactive sessions. According to officials as part of the University of Hyderabad orientation programme, conducted an anti-drug awareness session for newly joined students. Around 500 students and staff participated. The session highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse on physical and mental health, education, family relationships and future careers. Students were encouraged to make responsible choices and follow a drug-free lifestyle.

Another awareness programme was organised by Brahma Kumaris at AS Rao Nagar for students of Kaiza College. Students were sensitised about the physical, psychological, social and legal consequences of substance abuse and were encouraged to focus on education, health, sports and their future goals.

The programmes highlighted that drug addiction not only damages an individual's health and future but can also adversely affect families and society as a whole.
