CR Media Academy and Acharya Nagarjuna University have extended the last date for applications to their jointly offered ‘Diploma Course in Journalism’ till September 5, according to academy chairman Alapati Suresh Kumar. In a statement, he said the decision was taken in view of the demand and enquiries from various sections and following requests from journalists’ unions and journalists. He said the applicants would have to pay the course fee by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, CR Media Academy from any nationalised bank. The fee is Rs 2,000 for journalists and Rs 2,500 for other candidates. Intermediate pass has been fixed as the eligibility for journalists and degree pass for other candidates who have aptitude for journalism.
