Afterthe massive success of Chhaava; Vicky Kaushal is set to board on his most challenging role. The actor will play the lead role in the mythological film Mahavatar, where he will essay the role of the legendary Parashurama.

The actor will reportedly transform his body to gain more than 25 kilos to match the legendary figure of the character in the mythological story. Vicky Kaushal will once again work with celebrity fitness trainer TejasLalwani for his fitness and nutritionist needs. The two had worked together before for Chhaava. The actor’s transformation will begin soon for the project. The actor has been working out extensively for the historical drama and has undergone a strict diet. The film will begin its shoot in December 2023, and the pre-production work is already underway.

The film is directed by Amar Kaushik, who has given some hit films in the Stree Franchise. The project has already created a lot of intrigue among the movie buffs as it will mark the directorial debut of Amar Kaushik in the mythological genre while his co-star Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing one of the most legendary and iconic characters in the Indian Mythology.
