MLC Dande Vittal along with Sirpur MLA Palvai Harish Babu and health department officials, inaugurated five additional dialysis beds at the Government Hospital in Yellagoud Thota, Kagaznagar on Friday.

The expansion is aimed at enhancing dialysis services and ensuring better treatment for patients suffering from kidney ailments.

Speaking on the occasion, Dande Vittal said the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is giving top priority to strengthening the public healthcare system. He said the objective is to provide advanced medical facilities at the local level so that people, particularly those from rural areas, need not travel to other districts for specialized treatment.

The MLC noted that dialysis is a life-saving treatment for patients with kidney diseases and that the limited number of dialysis beds had previously resulted in long waiting periods. With the addition of five new beds, more patients will now be able to receive timely treatment, significantly improving access to essential healthcare services.

He reiterated that the government is continuously upgrading healthcare infrastructure and appealed to the public to take advantage of the improved medical facilities available at government hospitals.
