Formerminister and YSRCP Guntur district president Ambati Rambabu demanded a CBI inquiry into irregularities in the Mega DSC recruitment process. He submitted a memorandum to Guntur district collector CM Sai Kanth Varma on Friday.

Later, speaking to the media, he alleged that the coalition government committed irregularities in the Mega DSC recruitment. He claimed that 441 posts under the sports quota were allotted to favourites through GO No 4 and alleged that some appointments were made without candidates appearing for the recruitment test. He recalled that the government revoked GO No 4 after completing the recruitment process. He alleged that an outsourcing employee, Naveen, who got first rank, was denied appointment. Referring to the NEET paper leak issue, he said the Union Education Minister had resigned, but alleged that HRD Minister Nara Lokesh had not taken responsibility for the alleged irregularities in the DSC recruitment.

He further alleged that the coalition government failed to fulfil its promise of providing four lakh jobs annually and had not implemented the promised unemployment allowance. He accused Lokesh of misleading unemployed youth in the name of discussions and demanded his immediate resignation.
