TheMinistry of Youth Affairs and Sports has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award–2025. SETKUR CEO Dr K Venugopal on Friday said that individuals, who had shown outstanding performance in adventure sports and activities on land, sea and air during 2023, 2024 and 2025 could apply for the prestigious award.

He said the Government of India will present the award annually to recognise individuals, who had made significant contributions to development of adventure sports and demonstrated exceptional skill and achievement. The award is presented along with Arjuna Awards.

Each awardee would receive a bronze statuette of Tenzing Norgay, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through awards.gov.in by August 20, 2026. Applications with required details can also be submitted at SETKUR office in Kurnool.

Dr Venugopal urged eligible youth with notable achievements in adventure sports to utilise the opportunity and apply within the deadline.
