A 10-year-old boy from Telangana has achieved an extraordinary feat by reading 101 books continuously in 10 hours, earning recognition from the America Book of Records and the Worldwide Book of Records.

Devansh, the son of Padmalatha Pasham and Srinivas Gupta Dubba, currently lives in the US state of Georgia with his family. Passionate about books from an early age, Devansh noticed that children in today’s digital era are gradually moving away from reading. With a determination to promote the habit of reading, he completed a ‘Reading Marathon’ at the Forsyth County Library in Georgia, setting a remarkable record. His love for books has also inspired him to become an author. Devansh wrote a children’s book titled ‘THE SEMPEROS: Will They Ever Win?’ dedicated to his favourite football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo. Speaking about his achievement, Devansh said his real goal is not setting records but encouraging children to develop a reading habit. He also dreams of building a ‘Digital Superpower’ that uses artificial intelligence and community resources to solve peoples’ problems.

Devansh has actively participated in social services. When he was just eight years old, he volunteered for over 76 hours in food-packing drives for needy families. In recognition of his service, he received the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award (Gold Honor) in the United States. Devansh chooses taekwondo to develop disciples, and after practicing for over 3 years, he also achieved a black belt.

His parents recalled organising a baby hygiene awareness campaign when he was just six months old by creating the world’s largest diaper cake--a cake-shaped structure made using nearly 6,000 diapers--which were later donated to families in need. They said his achievements reflect not only talent but also compassion, discipline and a desire to make a meaningful difference in society.
