TheDistrict Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting of the Congress party was held at the District Congress Committee office in Nizamabad on Thursday, with party leaders stressing the need to strengthen the organisation and expedite the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls ahead of the upcoming elections.

The meeting was chaired by DCC President Katipally Nagesh Reddy and attended by State Government Advisor and Bodhan MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy as the chief guest. Addressing party leaders and Booth Level Agents (BLAs), Sudarshan Reddy called for completing the SIR process across the district with nearly 100 per cent coverage. He said every eligible voter should be enrolled and no genuine voter should be left out of the electoral rolls.

He urged Congress leaders to work in close coordination, set aside differences and focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He said the welfare initiatives introduced by the State Government should be effectively taken to the people so that beneficiaries are aware of the schemes and the party’s commitment to public welfare.

Expressing confidence in the Congress party’s prospects, Sudarshan Reddy said united efforts by leaders and workers would help the party secure victory in the forthcoming elections. He also assured party workers that those who had worked sincerely for the organisation would be given due recognition and justice.

Former Minister Mandava Venkateswara Rao, former MLA and State PAC Committee member Eeravatri Anil, former MLA and former MLC Akula Lalitha, former MLC Arikela Narsa Reddy, former DCC president Manala Mohan Reddy, Balkonda in-charge Sunil Reddy, AMC Chairman Muppa Ganga Reddy, NUDA Chairman Kesha Venu, District Library Association Chairman Raja Reddy, District Youth Congress President Vipul Goud, District OBC Cell President Narender Goud, District ST Cell President Yadagiri, District RGPRS President Gangadhar Goud, District SC Cell President Lingam, District Fisheries Cell President Srinivas and several other party leaders participated in the meeting.
