CaptainDiwya Alok, Commanding Officer of INS Dunagiri, presented the INS Dunagiri Ship model to Sainik School Korukonda.
The Commanding Officer presented the ship model to the institution on behalf of Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet Rear Admiral Alok Ananda.
The visit commenced with a warm ceremonial reception at the Palace by Group Captain SS Shastri, Principal of Sainik School Korukonda, followed by school officers.
Marking a significant step toward modernising digital learning resources for the school, Capt. Diwya Alok inaugurated a new state-of-the-art smart panel in the conference hall.
In a gesture of military heritage and nautical pride, a ship model was presented at the Palace Central Hall in the presence of cadet representatives.
A special assembly was convened at the Dr. PVG Raju Auditorium, where Capt. Diwya Alok addressed the cadets and staff, sharing insights on leadership, naval service and dedication to the nation. Later, Capt. Diwya Alok toured the school’s NDA Motivation Hall and viewed the displays showcasing the institution’s efforts to motivate cadets for the National Defence Academy.
