Declaringthat Andhra Pradesh has regained the confidence of global investors, Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh said on Thursday that the state has emerged as a preferred investment destination in view of the present government's focus on policy stability, speed, and investor-friendly governance.

He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited's (TPREL) 800 MW hybrid renewable energyproject near Hosur in Pattikonda constituency. He said the Rs.5,350-crore project, spread across Kurnool and Anantapur districts, reflects renewed investor confidence in Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh observed that the state's renewable energy capacity has increased by nearly 400 per cent over the past year, attributing the growth to restored credibility and consistent policy implementation.
