Kargil Vijay Diwas got a green tribute in Hyderabad as students, Rotarians, NCC cadets and forest officers came together to plant 527 saplings at Telangana State Forest Academy, Dulapally. The drive, led by Rtr. Kaushal Talluri under Project Dhanyavaad, was Rotaract Club of Mahindra University's way of turning remembrance into real action. Priyanka Varghese of the Forest Academy spoke on "green patriotism," while retired Army officers were felicitated for their service. Rotary leaders Ramesh Patel and Shanthi Palreddy called on youth to serve the nation beyond words. Over 150 participants made it a true community effort — trees for tribute.
