Policehave intensified their investigation into the case involving suspended Jubilee Hills Inspector Srinivas Reddy on July 30. The victim submitted a fresh complaint to senior police officials, alleging that she is being personally targeted through false information spread against her, and requested prompt action against those involved. As part of the ongoing probe, the Jubilee Hills DCP questioned the suspended inspector.

According to reports, the victim alleged that certain police officers are supporting Srinivas Reddy by carrying out a negative campaign against her. She informed senior officials that Srinivas Reddy maintains close ties with a prominent builder based on Road No 5 in Jubilee Hills, who has been assisting him following his suspension.

The victim further alleged that she paid lakhs of Rs to Srinivas Reddy due to persistent threats from him, submitting relevant supporting evidence to substantiate her claims. Breaking down in tears before senior officers, she requested immediate criminal action against the suspended inspector. Senior officials assured a thorough inquiry into the allegations while examining the evidence submitted by the victim regarding extortion, threats, and malicious campaigning.
