ProfessorJayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) Vice Chancellor Aldas Janaiah announced on July 30 that the application deadline for admission into BSc (Hons) Agriculture and other degree programmes for the 2026-27 academic year has been extended to August 13. Advising Telangana EAPCET-2026 qualified candidates to submit applications online via the official university website, he revealed that 360 additional BSc (Hons) Agriculture seats are available this year. Aldas Janaiah explained that 120 seats will be filled at each of the newly established constituent colleges in Kodangal, Huzurnagar, and Dichpally starting this academic year.

Highlighting institutional achievements, Aldas Janaiah stated that the university has significantly improved its national standing, rising from 37th rank to 19th rank by continuously embracing technological advancements.

He announced the introduction of cutting-edge courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Digital Agriculture into the curriculum.
